Galata Bistro

Galata Bistro Mediterranean Grill is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been too. The service is wonderful and the food is great.

We did Door Dash and the food was pretty average. It is very reasonably priced and served in good portions.

Been here once and liked the place. Every one in our group liked the food except Gemista.

Delicious, fresh entrees. We ordered chicken kabobs, gyros and a salmon dish. Tzatziki sauce was amazing.

Oh my goodness! If you are in the San Jose area, run down to downtown Menlo Park and eat at Galata. Mmm. The octopus is AMAZING! I found my new favorite spot to eat when traveling here. I am gluten free and felt completely safe eating here. The server was very kind and helpful with options and recommendations.

Quick service, great lamb shank, and awesome bread.

This was my first time here and I enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were nice and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I ordered the combo plate so I could try the different kebabs.I must say I enjoyed their bread service way too much and asked to take my leftover bread to go. They obliged and even added more for more.I'll be going back to try more items on their menu.

Gyro was great, side salad so-so, desert was very good, fast friendly service

Nice place, good food the food portion is small and little expensive especially the kabob only come with one skewer. But the food is very tasty everybody likes their food in our group. I will go there again, and I recommended it

Definitely recommend this restaurant. Food: Well balanced, tasteful meat, rice well cooked and the crispy falafels are Amazing. I've enjoyed all their desserts ( saffron ice cream, rice pudding).Staff: They are both caring and let you some room. Perfect!My favorite restaurant in Menlo Park!

This is a quaint restaurant on Santa Cruz Ave. in Menlo Park. They offer indoor & outdoor dining. The service is good & the wait staff is friendly. My favorites from the menu are the Roasted Beet Salad and the Falafal.

The service is always efficient, lovely ambience, welcoming employees. I will come back again when I arrive nearby.

One of the best Turkish restaurants on the Peninsula. Modestly priced. Salads with a protein addition are a welcome tasty healthy entree. I loved my arugula-pomegranate salad with chicken kabob. The lamb kabob I tasted was delightful.

We ordered hummus, puff pastry, wrpas and salads. The presentation of food was amazing. The taste was average. The restaurant is on the pricey side.

Started with falafel as an appetizer. A little burned on the outside and a little bland.Tried the Musakka. Bechamel, eggplant, potatoes, and hamburger meat. Overall good. I was expecting more spice, the meat was bland. Both foods can use more spices. Service was good.

I had an amazing time at this spot. We liked the extraordinary environment and the menu. The waiters are very friendly. I’m content we finally decided to try this restaurant.

Food here is delicious. I've lived in Menlo Park my whole life and havent been stopped here for a meal. 2 weeks ago First time ever trying this gem out... and we were very pleased with their dishes. They are absolutely delicious, serving size is perfect and the flavor of the chicken kebab is mouth watering. We have eaten here 3x since and definitely will be coming here again quite often. Service is great. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs and service was fast and made to order. The price is very reasonable as well. Great find. If you've never eaten here and youre unsure about whether or not to try it.... Definitely do it! Will not disappointCraving it again tonight... ordered it take out! Chicken Kebab and Chkn/Ribeye kebab. 🤗😋

The Galata Bistro has a really nice selection of both meat and vegetarian items on their menu. They have seating both inside and outside. It is a very cozy restaurant. The service is really good. They have a good selection of Kabobs on their menu. They have a lot of vegetarian appetizers to select from. There is a vegetarian section on the menu. On busy days the street parking can be difficult so plan ahead. Eating on the patio can be an enjoyable experience

Mediterranean food, yeah, my preferred treat. normally i would have posted a pic but food looked so good i couldn't stop. the bill was average for the menu.

Ate here tonight with my family and we were all very pleased with the food and service. Our female server was very personable and had the perfect balance of attending to our needs and giving us space to enjoy our meal. Thank you. We'll be back!

The service is regularly speedy, fantastic ambience, very friendly employees. I will visit again when I am in the area.

Last week was the first time we went to this excellent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the good service, with the first-rate cooking and booze and with the honest cost. We will surely go back there soon.

Very nice place. We came on Monday evening, when the restaurant was half empty. Food was delicious (the pomegrande kebab was the best!) and the staff very friendly, despite our boy making a little mess and noise.

Accommodating for large groups. Came with 18 coworkers and had a nice team lunch. Food came quick and service was great. The grilled octopus was fantastic. The rice and the gyro in the gyro platter was flavorful. Didn't like the salad as much though.

The service was not that great. You basically just have to flag down a server, I'm not really sure you even get a set server for your table, it didn't seem like it to me anyway. But that totally didn't matter. We sat outside and the ambiance made me feel like I was traveling outside the US it was laid back, you can sit and talk for hours here. They give you the most delicious bread with dip I've ever had and the food is just off the charts PHENOMENAL! so many robust flavors and taste. Can't recommend it enough.

My Ex and I took our daughter here and it was simply amazing!!!!! My daughter loved it so much she asked if I could take her here when she meets my new SO. We shared the dinner for two special and it was a great way to sample every thing. My daughter wanted the chicken tenders but I made her get the grilled chicken instead, and BOY did she love it and even asked for more!!!

Service is always good & everyone is nice. I really like their outdoor seating. My fave dinner is the beet salad & the falafel.

I’ve been here many times and have been worth five-star ratings every time. I pretty much love everything here because I try almost everything. The staff is friendly and great service and food is absolutely great. We always exciting when we go back to this restaurant for dinner. My kids love this place. Kids and family friendly.

Food was delicious! After a trip to Turkey a few years ago, I've been craving the authintic seasonings and grilled flavors. Very happily satisfied. Comfortable decor and friendly service. They were accommodating for our 1 year old as well. He loved the kabobs!

The food is fantastic and the wait-staff is very helpful. One of my favorite restaurants!
